Colors for Peace: A Global Journey Through Children’s Art

Originating in the heart of Italy and reaching across the world, Colors for Peace is an immersive experience that highlights the universal power of children’s artistic expression. This exhibition transforms art into a bridge of hope and connection, guiding visitors on an emotional journey through the imaginations of children from over 150 countries.

Selected from more than 200,000 submissions, the artworks on display form a vibrant tapestry of dreams, aspirations, and messages of peace. Each piece blends simple, heartfelt strokes with deep symbolism, creating a powerful harmony between spontaneity and reflection. Every drawing, every color contributes to a shared narrative—an invitation to reflection and collective responsibility.

At the heart of the exhibition stands The Globe, a powerful symbol of unity without borders, crafted from recycled paper gathered by children. Delicate yet profound, it embodies the rich cultural and environmental diversity of our planet.

Enhancing the experience, the anthem Peace, Peace – Colors for Peace fills the space, amplifying the emotional resonance of the exhibition. This musical piece weaves together children’s voices into a moving song of unity.

The journey concludes with a multimedia archive, allowing visitors to explore past exhibitions, from iconic Italian landmarks like the Pantheon, Capitoline Hill, and the Colosseum to international showcases that have brought Colors for Peace to three Olympic Games, two World Expos, and global summits.

More than just an exhibition, Colors for Peace is a testament to the power of children’s creativity in envisioning a better world. It is not only a display but a call to action—an invitation to cultivate peace through simple yet profound artistic expression.
